our neighbour first ...!!!
@ 24.06.2007 – 21:30:37
I was reading a friend's blog, having problem with her income (not mentioning specifically where she come from) she's from a one of the "First World Country" and they call it. I can't think but ask myself; no matter how rich the country is, the edge and the gap between the rich and the poor is very evident-of course poverty varies according to country- but one thing that makes them the same, it’s all poverty. ::::
We are let the world knows every time we do some charitable works in some under develop countries, but why can’t we help first our own country men who needs help in the first place, we extend arms to those who are far from us but can’t bend (of course not all) to those who are nest to us? We see the problems beyond the see while we are almost blind of our own neighbour. We could hear the cry of those who are in the other side of the globe, but we are deaf the cries of our brothers who are next to our door? Is the what progress brought in our life? Is Progress means “Extend your arms to those who are far from your but close it for the person next to you

Of course I do appreciate the help we give to those poor people in the under developed country. But please, before putting of the fire of those who are far from us, let us help first extinguishing the fire of our own neighbour”

This what comes into my mind this evening, I have to go before I’ll explode here:: -

exam down...up on September
@ 21.06.2007 – 17:27:25
my exam today was totally busted

... i had to do it again on september. I was caught by panic today before intering the office of the professor. He gave me a fair mark and told me, if i want to have more, i can do better on September. I accepted the proposal, hoping that on that day i can do better....
But this could not ruin my summer.

friends that come and go...
@ 18.06.2007 – 20:55:52
One Thing I really like here is meeting different people from different part of the Globe with various culture and family background, but in psite of that, we share one's problem and trying helping them too....
When someone is having a problem, everyone shares his own advise, while other cheers you up.
And when someone will say that he would be out or off for a moment, we felt sad as if we don't want her/him (like James Lindow) to go, but that's it, this is the reality of our life here, friends come and go, but the most important is, we shared various moments this could be the happy moments or bad moments....See You James when you comeback!!! Take a Rest and Grow More (as they say)

exams :) five were done, one more to go
@ 15.06.2007 – 15:58:43
XFive out of six exams were done, that means, only one to go.... this would be on 21st- Thursday, next week.
My exam today...not bad, though not too good. Out of four questions (it was an oral exam by the way) one put me in trouble...and it sucks my grade....grr...
but that's okay, i study to live not for exams....a moment of laughter (just smile if you can't afford to laugh)

I've sure gotten old! I've had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement, new knees Fought prostate cancer and diabetes. I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make me dizzy, winded, and subject to blackouts. Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation; hardly feel my hands and feet anymore. Can't remember if I'm 85 or 92. Have lost all my friends. But, thank God, I still have my driver's license. ů

Help Me!!! My Friend Needs Help!!!
@ 11.06.2007 – 18:05:33
Sorry to disturb you folks, but one of my blog mates needs a little help, so if you could something, this would be highly appreciated. He have to buy something but he doesn’t know where to get it.
I think he’s from England. I posted here his so that you may have knowledge what his problem is.
Here is his blog address: snakediggers.blog.co.ukwhile his post is this:
My Uncle Phil/lip brought round this thing called a "record player" earlier. I'd seen one before at my mate Derek's house. Now he (Derek) uses his to make clay pots, but my uncle still manages to still get sounds out of his.
So anyway, he pops in with this machine and gets these "platters" out ("the platters that matter" - so he said ) and proceded to set one of them in motion, soon after placing a "stylus" on the edge of it. He wired it through my Mum's amp and before I knew it music was playing -a bit crackly, but remarkably good considering the relative antiquity of the format.
Now the reason I'm even mentioning all this is because, my uncle gave me all his platters (I showed some interest and he's moving back to Angola and can't take them with him - he works for the UN apparently) and also this thing to play them on. He told me to get a new "stylus" and explained that if I did, the crackling would more than likely improve. Thing is, I don't know where to get one, so I'm stuck.
The conclusion is I've got about 1500 platters and not a thing to play them on. I've just looked on ebay, and am thinking of investing imminently. Any recommendations regarding make/type anyone? Serious advice only please - I have about Ł100 at my disposal. Thanks - no time wasters please.
Help you could share would be considered important… i hope am not asking to much for this

To Much Love for this Life!!!
@ 10.06.2007 – 08:16:52
As I said yesterday, I planned to post something interesting (at least for me, it's interesting) it's up for you judge if what I'll post here is interesting!!!
))
So here it is, read it and make a protest if you want, but am sure you won't leave this page delluded::
)My Friend, learn wisdom from the folly of worldly people . See how hard they take their worldly losses! For an earthly gain, men will labour and suffer so much, but their real and inner losses are so easily forgotten. They are often interested in matters which have little or no value, and the negligently pass over matters which are important. Their entire attention is often absorbed by external affairs. Unless you fight to control your thoughts, you too will be enslaved by the passing events of the present moment.
How foolish are those who do not realize their miserable condition, making this passing earthly life the only object to their desires! Some cling so to this life that, if they could remain here forever, they would not care at all for their Eternal Joy and Happiness. They would prefer to stay on earth even though they might have to strain and struggle for the bare necessities of their earthly existence.
How foolish and blind this people are! They lei buried so deep in earthly things that they enjoy only the pleasures of the senses. In a short while, they will come to the end of their earthly life. Then they will have a bitter realization of the uselessness and the nothingness of what they loved.
Think the best way to realize the quickly-passing value of earthly attractions, is to look at them in the past. Where are the enjoyments of last year? What become of the glory for which I struggled for many years or even just five years ago? What’s left last summer’s pleasure? Gone!? All finished and gone!? Do I want go on living for that kind of happiness or do I want perfect, all-satisfying-never-ending happiness!? Only a fool would hesitate in answering this question!!!! -
That's all Folks

a daily effort :)
@ 06.06.2007 – 20:42:50
My Friend, so often your thoughts are on unimportant things. You do not centre them on your greatest need. After a few moments of recollection, your thoughts go right back to useless distractions. As a result you rarely get a good look at yourself and your actions. You hardly know you’re your real worth because you take so little notice of your desires, motives and intentions. You fail to be impressed by your many faults because you are blind to what is going on with your heart. Your interior motives are often selfish and corrupt. Consequently, you external actions are very imperfect and unsatisfactory. From a pure heart come the fruits of a good life, but from an imperfect heart there can only come an imperfect life.
External activity proceeds from internal vigour. If you think only of external observances, you are no true to yourself. You must apply the axe to the root of your troubles. Learn to control this selfish nature of yours, and you’ll possess inner peace. There’s always a grace and a divine purpose. Do not keep looking on your weakness. Do not be afraid to make attempt. Nothing is impossible for Him. Fix your eyes on your purpose and make a sincere effort to follow your Will. Your difficulty will gradually vanish.
Try ad you will, you will always make a number of avoidable mistakes. Still, with a little violence to yourself, you will gradually be able to Live with more ease. If you rooted out of your life one single fault each year, you would soon become a good man if not really perfect. Nowadays, however, people seems to be at their best at the beginning of their conversion. They consider it a great accomplishment if they do not become worse with time.
Many admit that they have faults. When, however, any particular fault of theirs is pointed out to them, they will immediately justify themselves. They simple refuse to come face to face with any particular fault of theirs. As a result, they live a lifetime with little peace and happiness. So better to admit we have wrong and face it if it is our fault, only there we can proceed to improve and have inner peace and live with peace.

Lear Forever-Die Tomorrow
@ 06.06.2007 – 07:58:33
Browsing and reading my blogs and emails this morning took me so long since I have to visit also my friends' blogs and answering some of the emails. So I can't think better what to post in here, so just saying thanks to all of you for today.Thinking about my future which a little bit blured, a proverb (i you could call it a proverb, but for it is!) comes into my head:
"Learn as you are going to Live Forever and Live as you are going to Die Tomorrow"
. Thanks to the person who thought of this before me, whoever you are, I owe you for this
it's that profound but very significant i think.
So what do you think of this?
By the way, these coming days, I'm going to post something theological (i'll do the best I could) and a little bit informative especially about christianity. Is there anybody who wants this or i'll just live it to scholars...

Your Intetion
@ 03.06.2007 – 19:07:01
My friends, progress in virtue depends on His Grace and your own determination. His Grace is always at your disposal. It is your determination that wavers and changes. Your intention would be more firm if you obtained more grace to help you. By Prayer and Sacrifices, and with an increased used justice. Seek more Grace. Then you would find your will stronger to follow your intention throughout the day.
It is not always enough to make good intentions in the morning. You must also recall and renew them during the day. Examine how faithfully you are in following y our intentions and seek to improve yourself to this effort. When you break your resolution, begin again. This is far better than abandoning your good intention altogether. Anyone can make good resolution, but keeping them and renewing them is the work of a real man.
If you are afraid to start again or are discouraged by failure, it is because you do not understand what goes in your daily life. Without Him you can do nothing. Put your trust in His help. Then confidently do your best to follow your resolutions. If you fail, renew your intentions at once and begin again. He will judge you more by your efforts than by your failures. It is your natural pride that makes you afraid to begin, or discourages you when you fail. Pride wan immediate success.
Be honest, and you will be humble. Make a sincere effort, but do not be surprised at your weakness and unexpected failures. Beg by His grace, and go on trying. Leave all else in His hands. He who keeps trying to please Him will never be abandoned by His Love. -

First Exam, Two Thumbs Up!!!
@ 01.06.2007 – 17:46:48
WOOOOOOOWWWWW...wooooooooooooowww, I'm done my first exams and I got a very good result, no exageration, a high grade, Ohhhh God. Bythe way, it was an oral exam so, as soon as I finished, I immediately got the result. I still have to do some other five exams these coming weeks. lol, about the pro-plus, i'm not pretty sure if I'll be on it, i'm just using my method to keep me awake (of course pocket coffe is just for a break)...thanks for your concerns, though.
